I have carried the H&K USP on duty for 14 years. I had carried a Glock for a few years before that, but lost confidence in it. Glock is the issue weapon, rails were breaking, sights were falling off, and having problems at the range. I purchased the h&K USP 45 in stainless steel, and immediately loved it. I have not had any problems with it and it has always performed like a champ at the range. This last year I realized that it had never been looked at by an H&K armorer in 14 years. Our department issue guns are inspected by Glock armorers annually. I found an armorer, he took it apart and examined each piece. He said that each piece was in perfect shape and there were no problems. I was amazed. I had him install the Law Enforcement Modification on mine ]LEM[. Now my H&K shoots very much like a 1911. I could not have higher praise for the weapon. I depend on it to defend my life each work day.
